POSTPONED* New dates are June 7 – 10 at the BGAV office in Richmond, VA. (2828 Emerywood Parkway, Henrico, VA 23294) You can register for this training through the following link: Chaplaincy Conference (the Crisis Care Team Training is the “Disaster Spiritual Care” Class. The cost for this event is $150 per person (spouses can attend for free). Lunch will be provided. Negotiated hotel rates are available at the Embassy Suites for $139 per night if you choose to take advantage of those (information available on the registration link).

Impact Mission Camps.
We are trying something new this year and offering Crisis Care Team training and other disciplines during two different weeks of Impact Mission Camps. The cost for each event is $125 per person. You will be able to stay on-site at the camp and have meals on site if you wish. As part of this training, you will have the opportunity to immediately put your training into practice by serving with Impact teams or the Disaster Response Cooking Team at the end of the week as camp chaplains. The classroom training will be Monday through Wednesday, with the Hands-On opportunity to practice what you’ve learned in the evenings and Wednesday afternoon through Friday. • June 21-27 – Impact Chesterfield (classroom training June 22-24)
• July 26-August 1 – Impact Eastern Shore (classroom training July 27-29)
September 10-12 in Mineral, VA / Louisa County at Mineral Baptist Church.
This training will occur prior to a “Louisa Cares” day and our Crisis Care Team has been asked to provide chaplains for that one day event, so there is again an opportunity to practice what you’ve just learned by serving with teams on the 12th. The cost will be $125 per person. (classroom training 10th – 11th).
