Volunteers are the heartbeat of Virginia Baptist Disaster Response, and for the past 50 years, thousands of volunteers have poured their heart and soul into response efforts. We have counted on their passion and experience to meet human needs in times of disaster and serve communities around the world.
As we look toward the next 50 years, The Legacy Fund will allow us to lay a foundation of support for the next generation of disaster response. The investments into this fund will provide perpetual support to disaster response with the support of the Virginia Baptist Foundation.
Gifts from individuals, families, churches, associations, and estates will lay the foundation of The Legacy Fund for generations to come.
The Legacy Fund has been launched with a generous gift from Lloyd Jackson’s family. Lloyd played an integral role in the development of Virginia Baptist Disaster Response and the growth of Baptists in disaster response, and this contribution will ensure our legacy continues.
